It’s no surprise that Chia seeds have become one of the most popular superfoods in the health community. Actually, Chia seeds are originally from Mexico. They are also very tiny yet they are packed with omega 3, proteins, fibers, and antioxidants! Additionally, they are super easy to prepare and extremely versatile. They are so delicious that once you try them you immediately get hooked. There are various ways to use them and in different recipes which turn out to be quite successful dishes. However, the following mixed berry China pudding is a recipe I highly recommend.
Ingredients to gather for the mixed berry China pudding recipe :
2 Tbsp Chia Seeds
1/2 Cup Milk (any milk, I prefer coconut milk or almond milk)
1/2 Cup Mixed Berries
1 Tsp Honey or Agave Nectar
1 Pinch Salt
Instructions on how to make the mixed berry China pudding recipe :
First you blend the milk with the mixed berries, honey/agave nectar and salt.
Then, you add the chia seeds
Make sure to stir well and refridgerate it for at least 3 hours since it needs to thicken.
That is actually the main reason why I usually make mine the night before.
